Photovoltaic technology
Photovoltaic technology provides the opportunity to transform solar energy into electric energy via the surfaces of solar panels. The latter are modular and can be adapted to best suit the size of the installation site: this feature means they have a much wider range of potential applications than classic photovoltaic systems.
One of the most interesting applications is certainly the solar canopy. Panels are installed on the surface of the canopy, enabling it to perform a dual function: it serves as an awning for spaces such as car parks, gardens and public transport stops, while also, obviously, producing green energy.
